Dan Warren received the Harry T. and Harriette V. Moore Award from the Florida Historical Society in Pensacola. The Moores home was fire bombed on Christmas Eve, 1951, in Mims Florida, by the KKK.  It was a most fitting award since while Dan was in law school, he had talked with the FBI agent assigned to the case.  In fact, that agent later became the local sheriff.  The agent told Dan that he thought he knew who had killed the Moores back in 1951.
